Creamy Bacon and Cheese Dip

For a quick and easy appetizer, this creamy dip using Hormel® bacon bits is sure to be a hit at your next get-together.


This recipe is recommended for 22 servings


  • 1 (16-ounce) package sour cream
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3-ounce) jar HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix


  1. Heat oven to 400ºF.
  2. In bowl, stir together sour cream and cream cheese. Fold in shredded cheese, bacon bits, onions and soup mix. Pour into 2-quart baking dish; cover.
  3. Bake dip 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Place in center of platter; surround with crackers, assorted fresh vegetables or cubed bread for dipping.
