Taco Soup

Make a tasty soup with a cheesy surprise on the bottom.


This recipe is recommended for 4 servings


  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar CHI-CHI'SĀ® Thick & Chunky Salsa Hot
  • 1 (15-ounce) can HORMELĀ® Chili No Beans
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream


  1. In large saucepan, stir together water, salsa and chili over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until hot and flavors are blended.
  2. Place 1/4 cup cheese in bottom of each of 4 bowls. Pour chili mixture over cheese. Top with chips, lettuce and sour cream.
