Grilled Fruits

Serve this hot, sweet appetizer right off the grill.


This recipe is recommended for 8 servings


  • 1 cup LA VICTORIA┬« Thick 'n Chunky Salsa Verde
  • 1/4 cup jalape├▒o jelly
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Melon: slices or kabobs
  • Pineapple: slices or kabobs
  • Apples/Pears: slices, kabobs or halves
  • Papaya: kabobs or halves (remove seeds)


  1. To make sauce, in blender container, combine salsa verde, jelly, lime juice and butter; process until smooth.
  2. Prepare grill for low heat coals.
  3. Prepare fruit by cutting into chunks for skewers, into 1/2-inch slices or in half to lay on grill grate or in grill basket.
  4. Grill fruit, turning at least once and basting with sauce during last 5 minutes only (sauce can burn if grilled too long). Timing varies depending on fruit.

    Melon: 10 minutes
    Pineapple: 15 minutes
    Apple/Pear: 10 minutes
    Papaya: 15 minutes
