BBQ Baked Beans with Pineapple

  • 6 slices HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Bacon
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 3/4 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (16-ounce) can navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (8-ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper


  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Drain excess drippings; return to heat. Add onion; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until translucent. Add remaining ingredients; cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes longer. Cover Dutch oven; bake 1 hour.
