Bacon and Poached Egg

Take a few minutes this morning for a hot, delicious breakfast.


This recipe is recommended for 4 servings


  • 4 large eggs
  • 7 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette, divided
  • 4 cups baby salad greens
  • 12 slices HORMELĀ® Fully Cooked Bacon
  • 4 slices bread, toasted


  1. Place eggs in egg poacher or slide eggs into pan of simmering (not boiling) water and 1 tablespoon vinaigrette. Cook to desired doneness.
  2. In bowl, toss together salad greens and remaining 6 tablespoons vinaigrette. Divide evenly among 4 plates.
  3. Microwave bacon according to package directions.
  4. On each plate, serve 3 slices bacon and 1 slice toast topped with poached egg.
