1 Hormel® Cure 81® Sliced Ham
1/2 cup amaretto or other almond-flavored liqueur
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons shredded peeled gingerroot, divided
1 tablespoon pepper
1/4 cup House of Tsang® Classic Stir Fry Sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions
Heat oven to 325°F.
In shallow baking pan, place ham. Pour amaretto and water into pan; cover. Bake 45 minutes. In small saucepan, pour pan drippings.
In small bowl, combine brown sugar, 1 tablespoon gingerroot and the pepper; mix well. Sprinkle over ham; press with back of wooden spoon to adhere. Bake 30 minutes.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons gingerroot to pan drippings. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes or until reduced to 1/4 cup. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Serve sauce with ham.
