Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 (20-ounce) can DINTY MOORE® Chicken & Dumplings
  • 1 (15-ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F.
  2. Sprinkle flour over pie crust. Place crust, flour-side-down, on baking sheet. Place 1 1/2-quart round casserole over crust. Cut around edge of casserole; remove casserole. Trim additional 1/4 inch from edge of crust; cut slits in center.
  3. Bake crust 9 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown.
  4. In saucepan, stir together chicken and dumplings and mixed vegetables. Cook until heated thoroughly. Pour mixture into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with baked crust. Serve immediately.
