Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 4 cups (1/2-inch) strips romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups HORMEL® CURE 81® Boneless Ham, diced
  • 4 Roasted Florina Sweet Pepper Strips
  • 16 country mixed olives
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Toasted pita bread wedges, if desired

Directions

  1. In large bowl, toss together lettuce, ham, roasted peppers, olives and onion.
  2. To make dressing, in small bowl, whisk together oil and vinegar. Add cheese, basil, mustard, oregano and garlic; blend well.
  3. Toss salad with dressing before serving. Serve with toasted pita wedges.
