Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 12 slices white or wheat sandwich bread
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (15-ounce) can HORMEL® Chili No Beans, heated

Directions

  1. Heat griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Meanwhile, top each of 4 slices bread with 1 slice cheese. Top each with another slice each bread and cheese. Cover with remaining slices bread. Butter top and bottom of sandwiches.
  3. On griddle, cook each sandwich until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted. Cut each sandwich into 2 triangles. Top sandwiches with warm chili; serve immediately.
