  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup CHI-CHI'S® Smooth & Spicy Picante Sauce, divided
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Ranch or blue cheese salad dressing for dipping
  • Celery sticks


  1. Cut chicken wings at joints; discard wing tips.
  2. In large recloseable food storage bag, combine 2/3 cup picante sauce, the ketchup, honey, garlic, cumin and chili powder; mix well. Add chicken wings. Seal bag; turn to coat. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate if time permits.
  3. Heat oven to 400°F.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Arrange chicken in single layer on greased wire rack over baking sheet. Cook 50 minutes or until wings are cooked and glazed, turning once during cooking and basting with remaining 1/3 cup of picante sauce.
  5. Serve chicken wings with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
