Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 1/3 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup crumbled pecans
  • 12 slices white bread
  • 2 (5-ounce) cans HORMEL® Chunk Ham, drained and flaked
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

  1. In small bowl, combine preserves, mayonnaise and pecans; mix well. Spread evenly on one side of each slice bread.
  2. Divide ham evenly among 6 slices bread; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Cover with remaining slices bread. Brush outside of each sandwich with additional mayonnaise.
  3. On hot griddle or in large nonstick skillet, cook sandwiches over medium-low heat, turning once, just until cheese is melted and bread is lightly browned on both sides.
