This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
1/3 cup peach preserves
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/3 cup crumbled pecans
12 slices white bread
2 (5-ounce) cans Hormel® Chunk Ham, drained and flaked
1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
In small bowl, combine preserves, mayonnaise and pecans; mix well. Spread evenly on one side of each slice bread.
Divide ham evenly among 6 slices bread; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Cover with remaining slices bread. Brush outside of each sandwich with additional mayonnaise.
On hot griddle or large nonstick skillet, cook sandwiches over medium-low heat, turning once, just until cheese is melted and bread is lightly browned on both sides.
