This recipe is recommended for 12 servings
1 (11-ounce) can refrigerated breadstick dough
12 slices Hormel® Pepperoni
1 package dried rosemary leaves
1 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup Hormel® Pepperoni, diced
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Notes
Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
Directions
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Separate dough into 12 strips. On large baking sheet, lay dough strips flat.
Cut ends of 12 slices pepperoni into fingernail shape. Push pepperoni fingernail into end of each breadstick to resemble finger. Cut small "knuckle" marks in each breadstick. Sprinkle knuckles with rosemary.
Bake breadsticks 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, stir together remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat until hot. Serve sauce with warm breadsticks.
