Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen baby sweet peas
  • 4 gluten-free pita breads
  • 1/4 pound Hormel® Cure 81® Sliced Ham, chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups Swiss shredded cheese
  • 2 sweet pickles, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 large lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In medium saucepan, cook peas according to package directions; drain. Refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Cut pita breads in half; carefully open pockets.
  3. In bowl, combine ham, peas, cheese, pickles and mayonnaise; mix well.
  4. Place 1 leaf lettuce in each pita pocket. Divide ham salad evenly among pockets.
