Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 2 cups rotini pasta
  • 2 cups (1-inch) pieces asparagus
  • 1 (8-ounce) package HORMEL® CURE 81® Cubed Ham
  • 1/4 cup light olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, adding asparagus during last 3 to 4 minutes of cooking; drain.
  2. Return pasta and asparagus to pot. Stir in ham, oil, lemon peel and garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Stir in basil. Sprinkle with cheese.
