Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 2 (12-ounce) cans SPAM® Oven Roasted Turkey, grated
  • 1/2 cup cholesterol-free real egg product
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 6 Kaiser rolls, split
  • 6 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 CHI-CHI'S® Thick & Chunky Salsa, if desired

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, combine SPAM® Oven Roasted Turkey, egg product and taco seasoning; stir until well combined. Shape SPAM® mixture into 6 patties.
  2. Lightly coat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add SPAM® patties; cook 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until hot and both sides are golden brown.
  3. Spread cut sides of rolls with sour cream. Place 1/4 cup shredded lettuce on bottom half of each roll. Top with burgers, cheeses and tomato. Cover with top halves of rolls. Serve with salsa.
