Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 4 whole wheat pita breads or whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup country-style Dijon mustard
  • 1 (8-ounce) package HORMEL® NATURAL CHOICE® Honey Deli Ham
  • 4 ounces dill Havarti or Cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts

Directions

  1. Cut pita bread in half; gently open each half or slice buns in half. Spread inside of each pita half or bun with mustard.
  2. Layer 1/4 each of ham, cheese and alfalfa sprouts in each pita bread half or on each bun half. Place each sandwich on microwave-safe plate. Microwave on HIGH (100%) 30 to 45 seconds or until cheese is slightly melted.
