Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 (12-inch) prebaked Italian bread shell
  • 1 (6-ounce) package HORMEL® Canadian Style Bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add flour; cook 1 minute. Stir in milk. Cook until mixture boils and thickens; cool slightly.
  3. In small skillet, melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Add eggs; cook and stir until soft scrambled. Remove from heat. Stir in milk mixture.
  4. Spoon egg mixture over bread shell. Top with Canadian bacon, cheese, mushrooms and onions. Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
