Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 10 servings
  • 1 loaf small sourdough bread round
  • 1 (15-ounce) can STAGG® CHILI LAREDO® Chili
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 small tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 300ºF.
  2. Slice off top third of bread loaf. Tear out bread from larger loaf; reserve.
  3. In saucepan, heat chili and cream cheese over medium heat until cream cheese is melted. Stir in chopped onion. Pour chili mixture into bread bowl.
  4. Bake dip 30 minutes. Remove from oven; top with tomatoes. Bake 5 to 8 minutes longer. Top with green onions. Tear top of bread into pieces; place around loaf for dipping.
