Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 12 servings
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Hormel® Real Bacon Pieces
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 12 muffin cups.
  2. In bowl, combine flour, bacon pieces, sugar, baking powder, salt and orange peel; mix well. Make a well in center.
  3. In separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend well. Pour into center of dry ingredients. Stir until moistened.
  4. Fill muffin cups three-fourths full with batter. Bake 15 minutes or until golden.
