Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 12 servings
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 Comice or Anjou pears, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup French cheese with garlic and herbs or cream cheese with chives
  • 12 slices French bread, toasted
  • 1 cup Hormel® Pepperoni

Directions

  1. Heat broiler.
  2. In large skillet, heat orange juice over medium heat. Add pears. Cook, stirring occasionally, 6 to 8 minutes or until pears are tender.
  3. Spread cheese over toasted bread slices. Top with pears and pepperoni. Place on baking sheet.
  4. Broil crostini 4 to 6 inches from heat source 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
