Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 32 servings
  • 7 slices HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Bacon, chopped
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped smoked almonds

Notes

  1. Makes 2 cups.

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 7 to 10 minutes or until crisp; drain on paper towel. Chop when cool.
  3. In bowl, beat together cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in bacon, blue cheese, chives and garlic. Spoon into 2-cup ovenproof serving dish.
  4. Bake dip 30 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve with sliced apples and/or French bread, if desired.
