Ingredients

  • 1 (16-24-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Classic Young Turkey Breast, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons HERB-OX® Chicken Bouillon Cubes
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 (9-ounce) package frozen green beans
  • 1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/3 cup bow-tie pasta
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In Dutch oven, stir together turkey, water, tomatoes, cabbage, onion, Italian seasoning and bouillon over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Partially cover; cook, stirring occasionally, 35 minutes.
  2. Stir zucchini and green beans into Dutch oven. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Stir in garbanzo beans and bow-tie pasta. Cook 10 minutes longer or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with cheese, if desired.
