  • 6 long lasagna noodles
  • 1 package JENNIE-O® Sweet Lean Italian Turkey Sausage
  • 1 (28-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or Italian parsley
  • 2 (8-ounce) cups shredded mozzarella or Italian cheese blend


  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain.
  3. Meanwhile, crumble sausage into large skillet; discard casings. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add spaghetti sauce; simmer 10 minutes longer.
  4. In bowl, mix ricotta cheese, basil and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Spoon 3/4 cup sausage mixture over bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Layer half of noodles over sauce; top with half of ricotta mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese; top with 1 cup spaghetti sauce. Repeat layers with remaining ricotta mixture, 3 noodles and spaghetti sauce. Top with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover lasagna with aluminum foil; bake 50 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
