Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
  • 4 bake-and-fill crispy tortilla salad shells
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup HORMEL® Chili With Beans
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

Directions

  1. Bake tortilla salad shells according to package directions; cool.
  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until lightly browned; drain. Stir in water and taco seasoning. Add chili. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
  3. Divide lettuce evenly among salad shells. Top each salad with chili mixture and cheese.
