Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 6 CHI-CHI'S® Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas, cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground lean beef
  • 1 package CHI-CHI'S® Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup CHI-CHI'S® Original Recipe Salsa Mild, or variety of your choice
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced ripe olives, jalapeño peppers, sour cream, guacamole and CHI-CHI'S® salsa

Directions

  1. In skillet, cook tortilla wedges in oil until crisp and golden brown; drain on paper towels. Transfer tortillas to ovenproof platter; place in warm oven.
  2. In skillet, cook beef until browned; drain. Add taco seasoning; prepare according to package directions. Stir in salsa.
  3. Remove warm tortillas from oven. Top with seasoned beef, cheese and desired toppings.
