Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 8 servings
  • 2 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup CHI-CHI'S® Thick & Chunky Salsa, well drained
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons CHI-CHI'S® Diced Green Chilies, drained
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Tortilla chips and fresh vegetables sticks as desired

Notes

  1. Makes 2 cups.

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, mash together avocados and lemon juice. Stir in salsa, cilantro, chilies, onion, garlic, cayenne and black pepper; mix well. Serve with tortilla chips and vegetable sticks.
