Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 8 servings
  • 1/2 (18-ounce) package CHI-CHI'S® Taco Sauce with Seasoned Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded taco Cheddar cheese blend
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns, split
  • Shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In bowl, combine taco meat, cheese and onion; mix well.
  3. Split hot dogs lengthwise down middle, but not completely through. Spoon taco filling down center of each; place in buns. Place buns on pan.
  4. Bake hot dogs 10 to 15 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Top with shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream, if desired.
