3 pounds beef stew meat
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 Mexican-style diced tomatoes
1 cup Herdez® Salsa Casera
1 1/2 cups Herdez® Salsa Verde
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
1 package CHI-CHI'S® Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas, heated
Directions
In large saucepan, sauté stew meat and onion in oil. Add tomatoes, salsa casera, salsa verde, broth, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper; cover. Simmer over low heat 1 hours. Add potatoes; simmer 30 minutes or longer or until meat and potatoes are tender.
Spoon stew into warm bowls. Serve with warm tortillas.
