This recipe is recommended for 8 servings
1 (17.3-ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (8 count)
2 (15-ounce) cans HORMEL® Chili No Beans, or Chili With Beans
1 (12-ounce) package HORMEL® NATURAL CHOICE® Beef Smoked Sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
Shredded Cheddar cheese, for garnish
Pickle relish, for garnish
Ketchup and mustard, for garnish
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8 muffin cups.
Gently press each biscuit over bottom of muffin cups, carefully pressing and forming dough over side of each. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing from pan.
Meanwhile, in saucepan, combine chili, sausage and onion. Cook until heated thoroughly. Divide chili mixture evenly among biscuit cups. Garnish as desired with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
