Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 1 pound fresh or thawed frozen skinless cod, orange roughy or other mild fish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 DOÑA MARIA™ Chicken Bouillon Cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 drops BUFALO™ Salsa Picante
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas, heated
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar HERDEZ® Salsa Casera

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. Grease shallow baking pan.
  2. Rinse fish; pat dry with paper towels. Cut fish fillets crosswise into 1-inch slices. Place fish in single layer in baking pan.
  3. In bowl, combine butter, bouillon, cumin, garlic powder and salsa picante; mix well. Brush over fish. Bake 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when pierced with fork.
  4. Meanwhile, in separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream and lime juice; mix well. Add lettuce; toss to coat. Spoon lettuce mixture evenly onto warm tortillas. Top with fish. Serve tacos with salsa casera.
