Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 8 servings
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups crusty Italian bread (such as ciabatta), torn into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups HORMEL® CURE 81® Boneless Ham, chopped
  • 2/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and halved
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Provolone cheese, divided
  • 1/3 cup shredded fresh basil
  • Pinch salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Grease 3-quart baking dish.
  2. In large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  3. Add bread, ham, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Provolone cheese to egg mixture. Spoon into baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup Provolone cheese. Cover with aluminum foil.
  4. Refrigerate egg mixture 8 hours or overnight.
  5. Heat oven to 325°F. Remove foil from baking dish. Bake 1 hour or until set and top is golden brown.
