This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
1 (17-ounce) package Hormel® Always Tender® Teriyaki Flavored Pork Tenderloin
1 tablespoon grated peeled gingerroot
1 (7-ounce) jar hoisin or Peking sauce
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
Cut pork tenderloin into 1-inch-thick medallions.
In shallow bowl, stir together gingerroot and hoisin sauce. If too thick and syrupy, add a little water. Add pork medallions; turn to coat.
In heavy skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Drain excess marinade from pork medallions; set marinade aside. Add medallions to skillet; cook 3 minutes or until browned. Turn medallions over; brown other side.
Cover skillet; reduce heat. Cook pork 8 minutes or until done but still slightly pink in middle and internal temperature reaches 150ºF. Remove to warm serving platter; cover with aluminum foil.
Add reserved marinade to skillet. Bring to a boil; cook until mixture is slightly thickened. Pour over pork or serve on the side.
