Ingredients

This recipe is recommended for 6 servings
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons mild olive oil
  • 8 slices HORMEL® Fully Cooked Bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup HORMEL® Prosciutto, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon HERB-OX® Beef Instant Powder
  • 1 (26-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 4 cups hot, cooked spaghetti

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, cook onion, carrot and garlic in oil over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes or until softened. Add bacon and prosciutto; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
  2. Stir tomato paste into saucepan until it is dissolved. Add water, bouillon and marinara sauce. Simmer 15 minutes. Serve over hot spaghetti.
