This recipe is recommended for 12 servings
3 pounds Hormel® Always Tender® Peppercorn Flavored Pork Tenderloin
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (26-ounce) jar barbecue sauce
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
12 buns, split
Directions
In slow cooker, place pork tenderloin. Add onion; sprinkle with allspice, salt and pepper. Cover; cook on HIGH setting 6 to 8 hours or until pork is cooked through. Remove pork from slow cooker, discarding any excess liquid.
With two forks, shred pork; return pork to slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce and pineapple; cover. Cook on LOW setting until heated thoroughly.
Serve shredded pork in buns; top with thinly sliced green bell pepper, if desired.
