Ingredients

  • 1 (17-ounce) package Hormel® Beef Roast Au Jus Entree
  • 4 hoagie buns, split
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • 2 tablespoons Italian salad dressing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Remove roast from package, reserving juices; thinly slice roast.
  3. On bottom half of each bun, sprinkle small amount of cheese; top evenly with beef. Season with salt and black pepper. Arrange bell pepper and onion over beef. Drizzle with small amount of dressing; sprinkle evenly with remaining cheese. Cover with top halves of buns.
  4. Wrap sandwiches in aluminum foil. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Cut in half to serve.
  5. In microwave-safe glass measure, microwave au jus on HIGH (100%) 1 minutes or until boiling. Season with salt and pepper, as desired. Serve with sandwiches for dipping.
