Take a break from the traditional steak and fire up a delicious south-of-the-border fajita feast with a little help from CHI-CHI's® and Hormel® Always Tender® Beef products

Grilled Fajitas

Combine CHI-CHI's® Salsa, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, and vegetable oil. Mix well, place approximately 2 pounds of Hormel® Always Tender® Flank Steak in a large re-sealable bag and add marinade. Refrigerate for at least four hours, preferably over night to fully tenderize the meat. Plus, you can also substitute chicken or pork. Slice and prepare red peppers, green peppers and onions for grilling. Over medium hot heat, grill the steak, onions and peppers for approximately 10 minutes or until the meat is medium, to medium rare and the vegetables are tender and lightly charred, turning occasionally. It's important to let the meat rest 5 minutes before slicing to ensure maximum juiciness and be sure to cut the meat against the grain for the most tender slices. Serve with CHI CHI's® fajita style flour tortillas and bust out all the extras like guacamole, sour cream, cheese and salsa. Fajitas are a festive and flexible favorite.
