Summer is wrapping up and school is back in session. Stay connected with your kids by inviting them into the kitchen with these kid friendly recipes featuring Hormel® Chili, Hormel® Wranglers™ and Hormel® Natural Choice® Products

Hormel® Chili is a must for those cold Autumn days and the kids will love any meal served in a bowl they can make themselves such as the Coney Island Chili Bowls

Coney Island Chili Bowls

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Gently press each biscuit over the bottom and up the sides of a muffin pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing cups from muffin pan. Meanwhile, in a sauce pan combine Hormel® Chili No Beans, Hormel® Wranglers™ Beef Franks and onion. Heat chili mixture until warmed through. Spoon chili into each biscuit bowl. Have the kids sprinkle their choice of shredded cheese, pickle relish, ketchup and mustard on top of each chili bowl.

Crisscross Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Crisscross Ham and Cheese Sandwiches are sure to be a favorite with the kids. Start out by preheating a waffle iron. Spread butter on two slices of bread, lay butter side down, and spread one break slice with Di Lusso® Deli Dijon Mustard. Top with Hormel® Natural Choice® Cooked Deli Ham, cheese and remaining bread slice, butter side up. Cook it in waffle iron 4-6 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Serve with strawberry jam on the side for dipping. Fun, fast and flavorful!
