Fresh pork makes for a great meal however you prepare it. But why not get a little creative with these new HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER pork recipes. Cooking with pork is simple and takes very little time, ideal for keeping up with your busy autumn schedules.

Fruit and Nut Stuffed Pork Chops are sure to be a family favorite. Especially when they feature Hormel Always Tender extra thick bone-in pork chops. Heat oven to 350ºF. In a bowl, stir together apples, raisins, and walnuts. Carefully cut a slit and make a pocket in the side of each pork chop. Stuff ¼ of apple mixture into the pocket of each pork chop. In a large, oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil. Add pork chops. Cook 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Place skillet in oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until pork chops are no longer pink in the center. Serves 4. A unique chop with a nutty twist.

Another pork favorite is Pork Loin with Bleu Cheese made with Hormel Always Tender original flavor center cut pork loin filet. Cut pork into 1-inch thick slices. Pour Worcestershire sauce In a shallow dish and dip pork slices in the sauce. In a skillet, over medium-high heat, cook pork chops in olive oil for 6 minutes, turning once. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer or until pork is just pink in the center. Sprinkle each pork chop with cheese. Cover skillet and cook 2 minutes longer or until cheese begins to melt. Serves 4. Elegant, easy and delicious.
