Transcript: How-To Video: SPAM® Mini Nacho Burgers
Flavor up your next party, picnic or snack with these unique, delicious and just plain fun SPAM® Mini Nacho Burgers – with a little help from EMBASA® peppers and
CHI-CHI'S® jalapeno peppers!
No nacho burger would be complete without the salsa. In a medium bowl, add diced Roma tomatoes, diced red onion, minced EMBASA® chipotle chili in adobo sauce, red wine vinegar and honey. Stir together and set aside.
Next, slice SPAM® Classic into six 1/2-inch thick slices. Cut each slice in half again making twelve mini squares. Lightly fry or grill SPAM® Classic squares until lightly browned on both sides. Place one slice of Cheddar cheese on each piece of SPAM® Classic. Allow the cheese to begin to melt. Place the SPAM® Classic squares on the bottom of Hawaiian sweet rolls. Top each burger with the tomato-chipotle salsa, guacamole and piece of sliced CHI-CHI'S® jalapeno peppers.
